It was such a blessing for the Chinese to have the biggest group of more than 600 participants among the internationals to attend this historical event of the WPA. And there are four generations walking together including many elderly, lots of adults, a group of young people and a number of children.

The sacred assembly that God called for in Joel 2 was for all the people, everyone to gather, the elders, the children, the young, the newly weds, the priests. Assemblies were called by God so that the people were in a position to cry to God and to hear from God.

Here is a message received on May 1 from Dr. Bambang Widjaya, the Indonesian WPA chairman in Jakarta. It will give you a feel for the awesome thing the Lord is doing in and through the Indonesian church to prepare for the World Prayer Assembly which is due to begin in less than two weeks:

Dear Prayer Partners of the World Prayer Assembly, We are entering the last week before the WPA begins on May 14. Your prayers have been and are continuing to be vital to the whole process. Please join us in prayer for the following:

From the 14th to the 18th of May 2012, Jakarta, Indonesia will play host to the World Prayer Assembly, (WPA). The Assembly is expected to be the largest gathering of prayer, church and market place leaders since the first International Prayer Assembly that was held in Seoul, Korea in 1984.
